F1 mini La Mancha

Our friends at Boyd Farms raise some of the best La Manchas in the PNW, if not the country! They had a doe who was a bit on the small side as an 13 month old and they were curious about breeding her to a Nigerian. They have always been very complimentary of our herd and have seen them in person many times, so inquited about buck service – meanwhile I had been mini-curious and was considering adding a mini La Mancha or two to the herd. This was the perfect opportunity! It was decided that I would purchase any doelings that were born – unfortunately only 1 doeling was in the mix, but then the search was on for a buddy of the same age, which led us to adding Whimsey (mini Nubian). Friday is a gorgeous little (well, big compared to Nigerians) doeling who is convinced that I am her mother. She follows me around like a puppy. I am very much looking forward to seeing how she freshens in 2027.
