When Stella and her sister, Monkey Hill Vesper, were born I knew they were both staying. They are a very exciting linebreeding on Redstone SF Dark Star (and therefore, DesertNanny BR Estrella). Dark Star is the very symbol of persistence in extended lactations, and consistency. That, and their dam, Monkey Hill Bridie Pie freshened with such a beautiful FF udder. At the time of writing this Bridie has been in milk for 17 months, hopping up on the stand eagerly every morning. Vesper and Stella have yin/yang markings with Vesper being mostly black with splashes of white and blue eyes, while Stella is mostly white with splashes of black and blue eyes – the same can be said of their personalities. Vesper is aggressively friendly, even a little pushy, and basically wants in your pocket because she’s sure there must be a peanut in there. Stella is calm, quiet, and so so sweet. I adore them both.
