Whimsey was a bit of an impulse purchase but I’ve been watching her dam’s progress at her home farm and she’s been a hell of a producer. 1600 pounds of milk as a FF, 1900 pounds as a 2nd and 3rd freshener – all with butterfat ranges equal to your average Nigerian Dwarf, which is incredible. She is a 7th generation “purebred” Mini Nubian (Registration No. MN16015) and she was bred to a purebred Nigerian, making Whimsey ~75% Nigerian and ~25% Nubian. She seems like she’ll be slightly smaller than Friday (Mini La Mancha) but not by much!
